People
Current and former members of the Microbial Genomics Laboratory, including graduate students, doctoral trainees, and research collaborators.
研究室成員來自基因體暨生物資訊、生物科技與相關研究領域，共同參與微生物基因體學、抗藥性、病原演化與長讀長定序研究。
研究室的夥伴們主要是中興大學生科院基因體暨生物資訊所的研究生，每學年視情況會接受一到三名的碩士班新生。基資所目前只有碩士班，研究室的博班生目前為止都是來自本校生科院醫學生物科技博士學位學程(生科院其他的學程也歡迎喔！)。此外，我們團隊裡也歡迎碩士在職專班的夥伴。 有意加入的同學歡迎直接與我們研究室主持人或我們的團隊夥伴聯絡。
We have Master’s students from the Graduate Institute of Genomics and Bioinformatics and PhD students from the Doctoral Program in Medical Biotechnology. We also have postgraduate students from NCHU College of Science Inservice Master Program. We are based in the Institute of Genomics and Bioinformatics, located in the NCHU campus in Taichung City. Students interested in joining the team should make contact directly with Prof Chen or our current members.

成員風貌
鍾蕙 Hui Chung (Anna)
畢業於東海畜產系，因為抓不住牧場的動物，所以更喜歡研究，並且想跨領域學習。目前正參與農業相關昆蟲微生物基因體的研究，努力學習電腦與生物資訊知識。常思考這件事為什麼會這樣，雖然常常想太多，但很享受分析問題的過程，目標是把事情做好並真正理解自己。興趣是閱讀，因為不看書就睡不著。
李言箴 Yen-Chen Lee (Charis)
畢業於中山醫學大學生物醫學科學學系，目前是基因體暨生物資訊所的碩班研究生，於本實驗室進行研究所訓練。主要參與基因體定序相關之資料分析與流程學習，逐步熟悉長讀序定序資料的處理與解析。當前研究工作主要是共生菌的基因體與生物資訊研究。
黃唯剛 Wei-Kang Huang (Will)
Innovative Strategies for Wolbachia Genome Sequencing
中興生科畢業，實驗室最安靜的長髮男，身上常備小刀的生存遊戲高手。熱愛打網球、爬山，還把學術論文當故事書讀，對研究充滿熱忱，是個低調又有趣的存在。
楊珵皓 Cheng-Hao Yang (Neal)
一位能和生長速度堪比冬眠的黴漿菌長期共處的研究者
面對這種細菌，從臨床檢體一路養到完整基因體，好像在照顧一個非常慢熱的室友。 他總是把複雜的步驟拆成可以逐一處理的小任務，用穩定的節奏把整個分析流程拼起來。「欸？這個好像可以試試看！」於是各種奇怪但必要的技術，最後都自然而然落到他身上。
在臨床醫師、實驗流程與基因體資料之間充當翻譯者，把專有名詞換成大家都聽得懂的語言。跨領域對他像是一趟一趟往返不同世界的日常旅程。
陳彥彤 Yen-Tong Chen
Antimicrobial Peptides Enhance Host Innate Immune Responses Against Klebsiella pneumoniae (2025)
研究主題為抗菌肽在克雷伯氏肺炎菌感染中的免疫調節作用，探討其是否能增強巨噬細胞的防禦能力。擁有醫學檢驗背景的她，熟悉流式細胞儀、細胞與免疫實驗，在跨校合作的研究中展現良好的執行力與獨立思考能力。性格活潑、反應迅速，能在多變的研究環境中靈活應對。樂於照顧小動物而且心地善良。
吳詠婕 Yung-Chieh Wu (Julia)
Genomic Analysis of Mobile Genetic Elements in Clinical Isolates of MRSA (2025)
一個在細節裡找到樂趣的研究者。從實驗到基因體生物資訊分析，她總是專注而穩定地完成每個步驟。面對新技術有著自然的好奇與學習熱情，傳承團隊核心技術之外，也在臨床醫師與研究團隊之間擔任橋樑的角色。
原主修畜產學的她，選擇以跨領域的方式進入基因體與生物資訊的世界；在理性的分析之外，也有柔軟的觀察力與語言的敏銳度，喜歡學習外語，享受在不同思維之間找到連結的過程。
